NOTE:

If you split the External RAID Group, RAID Group, XP Thin Provisioning pool, and Snapshot

into two schedules, you will not see the Total I/O, Total MB/s and Total Tracks fields in

the Grid Display screen.

Depending on what you select in the Components drop-down list, the Components list box is

populated. (If you select the component RAID GROUP, a list of RAID groups configured for the

array is listed.)
Select the DKC, Port, and RAID Group resources for which you want to schedule performance

data collection, using Add >>.
You can remove the DKC, Port, and RAID Group components from the Selected Items list box by

selecting an item and clicking Remove <<.
You can select all components in the Components list box by clicking Add All >>. This is mandatory

for Continuous Access Journal, Snapshot, and XP Thin Provisioning components.
You can remove all selected items by clicking Remove All <<.
If you select all the items in all the three components in your schedule, you must set a minimum

frequency of 15 minutes and a maximum of 60 minutes.

NOTE:

You can have two schedules per DKC. The second schedule must include all the components

not selected in the first schedule.

NOTE:

If you have selected more than one command device, you must include all resources of the

component to the second performance data collection schedule.

TIP:

Creating two schedules you to monitor certain critical components more frequently than

other components.

9.

Specify the frequency of performance data collection of the components by entering the time in

minutes in the Frequency text box.

NOTE:

The collection interval for performance data collection cannot be less than one minute

or more than 60 minutes.

NOTE:

The latest frequency set for any component of Continuous Access Journal, Snapshot,

RAID Group, XP Thin Provisioning, and External RAID Group is applicable for all other

components for a given schedule.
