4 Array View
Introduction
Use the Array View screen to monitor the activity of specified array components in real-time. The Array
View tree on the left side of the screen provides a hierarchical view of the XP arrays. Clicking on the
text or adjacent icons expands the view to provide further information about the array as shown in

Information is divided into the sections: Array, CHIP Port Activity, and ACP Pair Backend. Array provides
general information about the array, metrics for its frontend activity, backend activity, cache utilization
and bus/path. CHIP Port Activity displays the CHIP details and CHIP port activity metrics. ACP Pair
Backend displays the ACP pair details and the ACP pair activity metrics.
Using the Array View screen
The Array View screen comprises an array tree on the left pane and the details screens on the right pane.
When you double-click the array serial number in the array tree, the tree view expands to show the CHIPs
and ACP Pairs in the array. When you click the CHIP and ACP Pair nodes on the tree, the screens for
those nodes appear in the panel to the right of the tree.
When you double-click the array serial number in the array tree, information about the array is displayed
in the detail view on the right pane. The General group box in the right pane lists the following
information about the array:

Model: The model number of the XP array
