Power-On Self-Test Screen
When you first turn on the tape drive, a series of power-on self-test (POST)
diagnostics is performed. During the POST execution, the model number of the
tape drive, the current date and time, the firmware revision, and the status or
result of the test in progress appears on the control panel.
Figure A-4 shows the
first message that appears on the display.
