Recovering from Errors
2. At the Main menu, press the down button five times until the cursor is next to
Show History Menu.
3. Press Enter to select the menu.
4. On the Show History menu, press the down button once so that the cursor in
the display is next to Error History.
5. Press the Enter button to select the function. A circular list of 4-line error
reports appears in the format shown in Figure A-2 .
6. Using the up and down buttons, scroll the list to display the error history of
the tape drive.

Fault Symptom Codes are listed in Table A-2 on page A-3. Error Recovery
Procedures (ERP) are described in detail in Table A-1 on page A-3. ERP are
listed for each FSC.
