Group P Fault / Symptom Cause Remedial action
P 1 Totalizer connected but does Incorrect connection/polarity Connect properly,
not count any pulses see Sect. 2.4.
Totalizer or external voltage Check output (see Sect. 7.2)
source defective. with new totalizer:
Test ok, check connection
cables and previous

source, and replace if
necessary.
Test faulty, pulse output
defective, replace signal
converter (see Sect. 8.4)
or contact Krohne Service.
Current output is external Check connection and cables,
voltage source, short circuit see Sect. 2.4. Voltage between
or current / pulse output I+ and I ⊥ approx. 15 V.
defective Switch off device, eliminate
short circuit, switch device
on again. If no function,
then current or pulse
output defective. Replace
signal converter (see Sect.
8.4) or contact Krohne
Service.
