9.6.3 Memory Initialization
a. Select Driver (D) and then Initialize Memory (I) from the menu.
b. The warning dialog box shown in Figure 9.6.6 appears.

c. Click Yes (Y) to display the Initialize Driver Memory window.

d. Select Parameter initialization under Initialization type in order to overwrite the parameters
with the default values, or select Factory Set Parameters to overwrite the parameters with the
values at shipment from the factory. Click the Start button to start overwriting.
* The servo must be turned off, or any operation system commands currently being performed
must be completed normally, before the initialization can be started.
9.6.4 Software Reset
a. Select Driver (D) and then Software Reset (R) from the menu.
b. The dialog box shown in Figure 9.4.2 appears.
c. If you click Yes (Y) , the message “Restarting the driver” is displayed for several seconds
and the connection check dialog box shown in Figure 9.2.1 appears.
