4.7.2 Process to Replace the Motor for the Y-Axis
[Items Required for Replacement Work]
x Motor Unit for ReplacementModel No. : M-CGXY-TMA400-TA-CQ
x Hex Wrench: 2.5mm, 3mm and 4mm-sized
[Procedure]
(1) Detaching the Motor Covers 1 and 2
Turn OFF the power to the controller and disconnect the motor cable and encoder cable.
X1-axis, Y2-axis and Z-axis can be at any position.
Detach the four screws holding the cable clamps on the top of Motor Cover 1, and remove
the cable clamps.
Detach the four screws holding Motor Cover 2, then another four holding Motor Cover 1 next,
and remove Motor Cover 1 and 2.

Tool to use: Hex Wrench 2.5mm-sized
