“Snap to zero below:” If the Interim Value drops below the value set in this field, the Interim Value will be
set to zero.
“Proportional to Bus:” If the probe assigned to the EDC Input (selected above) is powered by the aircraft
bus, the readings may change as the bus voltage changes. By selecting “Yes” in this field the MVP will
perform a ratio metric calculation with respect to the bus voltage. This will eliminate reading changes due to
bus voltage variations. Most E.I. probes and transducers are not powered by the bus but Trim, Flaps and
Annunciators should be powered by the bus.
“Reset values back to factory default?” Each Probe has a factory default setting for each of the
calibration parameters listed above. If any parameter has been changed from the factory default, the changed
parameter will be displayed in yellow. This field can be used to reset the calibration parameters back to the
factory defaults.
