• Used when the external zirconia O
2
sensor or the external O
2
sensor is ordered. It is not required or used if the analyzer has a
built-in O
2
sensor.
• Connect the dedicated connector (accessory) to the output of the
external zirconia sensor or the external O
2
sensor (shipped
separately).
• When using an external O
2
sensor, the input signal should be 0 to
1 VDC with respect to the O
2
full scale of the analyzer. The O
2
concentration display, output, and O
2
correction can then be
performed correctly.
Note: The O
2
sensor input is not isolated. TAI recommends that it
be isolated when an external O
2
analyzer is installed
remote from the analyzer. The zirconia O
2
sensor should
be installed at a location that is as close to the analyzer as
possible.
The figure below shows how to connect the O
2
signal to the
dedicated connector (accessory).
