Replace burette Removing a burette with no reagent installed
1. Enter the Burette functions menu.
2. TIM845 only:
Select the burette to be replaced at the Address line,
see
"Address", page 38 .
3. Press 4 Replace burette then press
✓. The piston is moved to its
lowest position (filling operation).
4. The data of the burette to be replaced are displayed. Check and
press 1.
5. Enter the new burette volume and serial number as for a burette
installation. Press 1 to confirm.
6. Remove the burette and press
✓.
7. Install the new burette at the displayed address and press
✓,

"Install burette", page 107 .
Removing a burette with a reagent installed
The following procedure removes the reagent before replacing the
burette.
1. Enter the Burette functions menu:
2. TIM845 only:
Select the burette to be replaced at the Address line,
see
"Address", page 38 .
3. Press 4 Replace burette then press
✓.
4. Press 1 to rinse the burette before removal.
Press 2, if no rinse required.
5. Press
✓. The burette is emptied. Remove the reagent bottle and
press
✓. The burette is filled, emptied.
6. If a rinse has been requested:
install a rinse bottle filled up with demineralised water and press
✓. The burette is flushed,
see "Flush burette", page 101 .
Remove the rinse bottle and press
✓. The burette is filled then
emptied.
7. The burette is filled, at the end, the piston stops at its lowest posi-
tion.
8. The data of the burette to be replaced are displayed. Check and
press 1.
9. Enter the new burette volume and serial number as for a burette
installation. Press 1 to confirm.
10. Remove the burette and press
✓.
11. Install the new burette at the displayed address and press
✓,
