Matrix Switchers Control Program
The Windows-based Extron Matrix Switchers Control Program communicates with
the switcher via the rear panel Remote RS-232/RS-422 port and the front panel
Configuration (RS-232) port to provide an easy way to set up ties and sets of ties.
The program is compatible with Windows 2000 and Windows XP. Updates to this
program can be downloaded from the Extron Web site ( www.extron.com ).
Installing the software
The program is contained on the Extron Software Products Disk. Install the
software as follows:
N For full functionality, install both of the following programs:
• The Matrix Switchers Control Program
• The Firmware Loader
1 . Insert the disk into the drive. The installation program should start
automatically. If it does not self-start, run Launch.exe from the disk.
The Extron software disk window appears (figure 5-1).

2 . Click the Software tab (figure 5-1).
3 . Scroll to the desired program and click Install (figure 5-2).
