For reasons of the radar signal polarization the
holes and slots must be positioned in two rows
displaced by 180 ° .
The mounting of the radar sensor is then such
that the type plate of VEGAPULS 64 or the
casting nose of VEGAPULS 81 is in one axis
with the rows of holes.
Surge pipe with stop valve
When using a stop valve in the surge pipe, it is
possible to carry out maintenance and service
work without opening the vessel (e.g. with
liquid gas or toxic products).
Requirement for an interference free operation
is a ball valve outlet corresponding to the pipe
diameter. The ball valve must not have any
coarse edges or throats in the outlet against
the measuring pipe.
