CE-conformity
VEGAPULS radar instruments meet the protective regulations of EMVG (89/336/EWG) and
NSR (73/23/EWG). The conformity has been judged acc. to the following standards:
EMVG Emission EN 50 081 - 2: 1993
Susceptibility EN 50 082 - 2: 1995
NSR EN 61 010 - 1: 1993
3.2 Approvals
When using the radar sensors in Ex and StEx-
areas or on ships, the instruments must be
suitable and approved for these applications
and explosion zones. The suitability is
checked by the approval authorities and certi-
fied by approval documents.
VEGAPULS 64 radar sensors are approved for
StEx Zone 10.
VEGAPULS 81 are approved for Ex Zone 0
(CENELEC, PTB).
VEGAPULS radar sensors are tested and
approved by the following authorities:
