is calling The telephone base is calling the handset.

devices (for intercom calls).

The handset is transferring an outside call to
the base.
Calling
HANDSET X The handset or telephone base is calling
another handset (for intercom calls).
The handset or telephone base is transferring an
outside call to another handset.
Calls will be
answered The answering system is turned on and will
answer calls.
Calls will not
be answered The answering system is turned off and will not
answer calls.
Check AC power The telephone base is on a call while AC power
is not available.
Contact deleted A phonebook entry is deleted.
Ended You have just ended a call.
