Answering system settings
Play your announcement
To play your announcement with a cordless handset:
Press MENU when the handset is not in use.
Press or to scroll to Answering sys, then press SELECT.
Press SELECT again to select Announcement.
Press or to scroll to Play annc, then press SELECT.
Options during playback:
Press VOL
+
or VOL
-
to adjust the announcement playback volume.
Press 5 or OFF to stop the playback.
Press to switch between the handset speakerphone and the
handset earpiece.
Press
DELETE to delete the current announcement. The screen
displays Annc. Deleted. The system announces,
“ Announcement deleted.”
To play your announcement with the telephone base:
Press MENU when the telephone base is not in use, then press
SELECT to select Answering system.
Press SELECT again to select Announcement.
Press or to scroll to Play current annc, then press SELECT .
Options during playback:
Press q VOL or pVOL to adjust the announcement
playback volume.
Press
STOP to stop playback.
Press RECORD to record a new announcement.
Press X/DELETE to delete the current announcement. The screen
displays Annc. Deleted. The system announces,
“ Announcement deleted.”
When your announcement is deleted, calls are answered with the
preset announcement.
