Answering system operation
Message playback
To play messages at the telephone base:
Press PLAY when the telephone base is not in use.
If you have only new or old messages, the messages play automatically.
-OR-
If you have both new and old messages, press or to scroll to
Play new msgs or Play old msgs, then press SELECT .
Options during playback:
Press q VOL or pVOL to adjust the message playback volume.
Press /SKIP to skip to the next message.
Press /REPEAT to repeat the message. Press /REPEAT twice to
hear the previous message.
Press
X/DELETE to delete the playing message. The screen displays
Message deleted. The system announces, “Message deleted,” and
then advances to the next message.
Press
/STOP to stop the playback.
Press to reduce the playback speed.
Press CALL BACK to call back the caller. The screen displays
Call back? Press YES to confirm or NO to cancel.
To play messages at a pendant:
Use the voice command feature (see page 120).
