In addition to displaying the number of
parts, the parts counting feature offers an
alternate display mode. Using the Pc Alt
submenu, you can specify the following
for the alternate display:
•
An alternate unit/mode for displaying
weight or quantity of parts (can be any
unit/mode the balance offers regard-
less of which units are enabled in the
Unit Selection submenu).
•
NET or TOTAL
NET permits repetitive taring and
causes the alternate display to show
only the weight of parts added since
the last tare.
TOTAL causes the display to show
the total weight or quantity of all parts
on the pan. Taring only affects the
primary parts count display.
•
Turn alternate display OFF.
To select NET, TOTAL or OFF for the
alternate display, use the following proce-
dure:
1. Access the Pc Alt submenu to display
the current setting.
2. Press to change the setting.
Press to accept the displayed
setting.
When is released, PC ALT will be
displayed again and the Setup menu will
be returned.

Example shows alternate display set for
TOTAL grams and NET grams.
