Within the clip tree structure of IP Director each XT machine can be searched by
filtering down in the tree from network number > page > bank

Each clip record in the result list is detailed in variable width columns providing
information about the stored clip. Some of the details can be edited from here,

others are for information. All the headings can be used as filters when searching
for Media.

3.7.1 ‘Column Organizer’, on page 104.

Column Name

Description

Thumbnail

A reference frame from the clip can be shown to visually
identify the correct material

Key Thumbnail

A reference frame from the Key clip can be shown relative
to the Fill clip selected

Name

A clip can be automatically named using a configuration
setting in the XT, added from the XT keyboard, or from
the IP Director Control Panel when using it to create clips

LSM ID

This is the clip number and location of the media as
explained in the ‘clip’ section above. This number could
change if the location of the clip is moved within the

XNet.
