•
When the operator performs a search on the master Database Explorer window,
the current clip is played out and the first clip of the search results is
automatically chained.
•
When the operator performs a search in the secondary Data Explorer window,
this does not impact the auto-chain in the master window. The operator needs to
activate the auto-chain to take the lead over the player channel and start
playing the clips in auto-chain mode.

TRUCTURE
The Database Explorer application has a tree structure which enables the first
phase of a search for material to be conducted. By filtering through the tree
structure it is indeed possible to restrict the search to specific locations on the
XNet network, play-lists, within bins or logs.

Selecting the Search icon
in the menu reveals the Filter toolbar (see

associated metadata.
Note
The search can be refined to a specific area of the database depending
on the tree level selected in the tree structure.
