Circuit Breaker
The machine has a Circuit Breaker mounted on
the rear electrical panel. In the event of an
electrical short, the Circuit Breaker will open
automatically to remove input power to the
machine.
When the Circuit Breaker switch is set to the up
[ | ] position, input power is supplied to the
machine. If the machine will not be used for
extended periods, set the Circuit Breaker to the
down [ ] position.
Check the Circuit Breaker once a month for proper operation. If you notice any unusual
conditions, contact your Xerox Customer Support Center.
Note • Before setting the Circuit Breaker to the down position (Off), set the Power Switch (also
called the Stand-by Switch) to Off.
Checking the Circuit Breaker
The procedure to check that the Circuit Breaker is correctly working is as follows.

Turn off the power switch on the upper right side of the machine.

Press the TEST button while Circuit Breaker on lower back of machine is on.
If the Circuit Breaker turns off, it shows that it is operating correctly
