FILTER

The FILTER ENVELOPE LCD [▲/▼] controls
are used to set the filter envelope RATE and LEVEL
parameters. Use the RATE or LEVEL LCD button to
select the corresponding group of parameters.
RATE
Set the rate of cutoff frequency variation. Higher
values produce faster variation.
A
TTACK : Sets the speed of variation from key-on
(BRILLIANCE LEVEL) to the level set by the
ATTACK LEVEL parameter.
D ECAY 1, D ECAY 2, D ECAY 3: Set the speed of varia-
tion between the attack level and the levels set by
the
LEVEL D ECAY 1, D ECAY 2, and D ECAY 3 pa-
rameters, respectively.
R ELEASE 1: Sets the rate of variation from the level at
key-release to the level set by the LEVEL R E-
LEASE 1 parameter when SUSTAIN is off.
R ELEASE 2: Sets the rate of variation from the level
set by the LEVEL R ELEASE 1 parameter to that set
by the LEVEL R ELEASE 2 parameter when SUS-
TAIN is off.
S USTAIN : Sets the rate of variation from the level at
key-release to the level set by the LEVEL S US-
TAIN parameter when SUSTAIN is on.
RESONANCE: Sets the amount of emphasis at the
cutoff frequency (resonance).
LEVEL
These parameters set the amount of variation
from the preset cutoff frequency. Level “0” is the
preset value.

TTACK : Sets the attack level after key-on.
D ECAY 1, D ECAY 2, D ECAY 3: Set the levels after
D ECAY 1, D ECAY 2, and D ECAY 3 variation.
R ELEASE 1, R ELEASE 2: Set the levels after RATE
R ELEASE 1 and R ELEASE 2 variation after key-
release when SUSTAIN is off.
S USTAIN : Sets the level after RATE S USTAIN varia-
tion after key-release when SUSTAIN is on.
BRILLIANCE: Sets the brilliance level.
NOTES
• If DRUM kit is selected , SUSTAIN parameters in the
AMPLITUDE ENVELOPE or FILTER ENVELOPE can-
not be changed.
• Some parameter settings may have minimal or no effect
with some voices.
