Mirror Configuration Port mirroring allows monitoring from one port (called mirrored port) to another port
(called mirror captured port). This functionality allows any port's Ingress and/or
Egress traffic to be monitored to a pre-defined "mirror capture port".
Depending on your configuration you can mirror (from mirror port to mirror capture
port):
The outgoing traffic
The incoming traffic
Both incoming and outgoing traffic.
