System Lights

The system lights are located on the front of your VSX system.

When the VSX system...

It means...

VSX 3000
VSX 3000A
VSX 5000
VSX 6000
VSX 6000A
VSX 7000
VSX 7000s
VSX 7000e

Indicators are off

No power to the system.

Green indicator blinks slowly

The system is sleeping.

Green indicator flashes when
you use the remote control

The system is not in a call, and
is receiving signals from the
remote control.

Amber indicator flashes when
you use the remote control

The system is in a call, and is
receiving signals from the
remote control.

Green indicator is on

The system is ready to make a
call.

Amber indicator is on

The system is in a call.

VSX 3000, VSX 3000A: Red
indicator is on
VSX 5000, VSX 6000,
VSX 6000A, VSX 7000,
VSX 7000s: Mute indicator on
the Polycom microphone is red

The system microphone is
muted.

VSX 7000e
VSX 8000

Blue indicator is on

The system is connected to
power but powered off.

Green indicator is on

The system is powered on.

Green indicator blinks

The remote control has been
picked up or set down.

Red indicator turns on
momentarily

The system is powering off.

Mute indicator on the Polycom
microphone is red

The system microphone is
muted.
