Press the 3 button in the
User mode.
The User menu appears. Refer to p.182 for
the functions that can be registered in the
user modes.

Use the four-way controller (45)
to select USER1, USER2 or
USER3.

Use the four-way controller (23) to choose an item.
Set the desired setting for each item. Refer to each item for the setting
procedure.

Press the shutter release button halfway.
The User setting is saved and the screen returns to capture status.
Refer to Step 6 of “How to Use the Menus” (p.43) for other operations
after the settings have been made.
Registering Functions to a User Mode
• The User menu in Step 1 above can also be displayed from the
[BSet-up] menu.
• Choose one of the following four shooting modes: R, a, b, c.
All other items are set in the same manner as the normal menus.
