Register shooting modes or functions that you use frequently and then
align the mode dial to E to quickly take pictures using your preferred
settings.
Three User modes (USER1, USER2 and USER3) can be registered.

Set the mode dial to E.
The current User mode is indicated at the
top left of the screen. To take pictures with
this User mode, go to Step 5 below.

Press the { button.
The Fn guide screen appears.

Press the front lever to the right or
left to select a user mode.

Press the { button.
The camera is ready to take pictures in the
selected User mode.

Press the shutter release button halfway.
The focus frame turns green if the subject is in focus.

Press the shutter release button fully.
The picture is taken.
