The basic image tone can be adjusted as desired.
Image Tone

Press the 3 button in Capture mode.
The [A Rec. Mode] menu appears.

Use the four-way controller (23) to select [Image
Tone].

Press the four-way controller (5).
A pull-down menu appears.

Use the four-way controller (23)
to choose the image tone.

Press the shutter release button
halfway.
The Image Tone setting is saved and the screen returns to capture
status. Refer to Step 6 of “How to Use the Menus” (p.43) for other
operations after the setting has been made.
Selecting the Image Tone
Standard Creates a picture with standard image tone.
Vivid Creates a picture with vivid image tone.
