When the 5.5"x8.5" tray is selected and the copier detects that the original is placed in
portrait orientation, Rotation rotates the original image by 90° and the copy is made with
the appropriate AMS ratio to fit the portrait style of the copy paper.

In 1-2 copy mode, this function arranges the even pages of the simplex portrait originals
upside down on the reverse side of duplex copies.
In 2-1 copy mode, this function arranges the reverse sides of duplex portrait originals
which read upside down to make normal simplex copies.

180° Rotation functions when 1-2 or 2-1 copy mode is selected, and the originals are placed in
the landscape orientation.

This function is effective for portrait originals. For landscape originals, this function may not
result satisfactorily.
