• The class map is used with a policy map (page 32-6) to create a service
policy (page 32-10) for a specific interface that defines packet
classification, service tagging, and bandwidth policing.
Example
This example creates a class map call “rd_class,” and sets it to match
packets marked for DSCP service value 3:

This command defines the criteria used to classify traffic. Use the no form
to delete the matching criteria.
Syntax
[no] match {access-list acl-name | ip dscp dscp | ip precedence
ip-precedence | vlan vlan}
• acl-name - Name of the access control list. Any type of ACL can be
specified, including standard or extended IP ACLs and MAC ACLs.
(Range: 1-32 characters)
• dscp - A DSCP value. (Range: 0-63)
• ip-precedence - An IP Precedence value. (Range: 0-7)
• vlan - A VLAN. (Range:1-4093)
