ethertype to identify 802.1Q tagged frames. The standard ethertype
value is 0x8100. (See switchport dot1q-ethertype, page 30-27.)
5. Configure the QinQ tunnel port to join the SPVLAN as an untagged
member (switchport allowed vlan, page 30-14).
6. Configure the SPVLAN ID as the native VID on the QinQ tunnel
port (switchport native vlan, page 30-13).
7. Configure system MTU to 1526 if jumbo frames are not enabled (see
“System MTU Commands” on page 19-12).
8. Configure the QinQ uplink port to join the SPVLAN as a tagged
member (switchport allowed vlan, page 30-14).
switchport mode dot1q-tunnel
This command configures an interface as a QinQ tunnel port. Use the no
form to restore the default setting.
Syntax
switchport mode dot1q-tunnel
no switchport mode
dot1q-tunnel – Sets the port as an 802.1Q tunnel port.
Default Setting
All ports are in hybrid mode.
