• If “PLAY BACK DISC” or “DISC PROTECTED” appears when
you try to edit an MD
You cannot edit such MDs. See page 45.
• During Program Play or Random Play
You can edit the MD as long as the playback is stopped except during
Program/Random Play.
Forming a group (FORM GR): Page 56
This function forms a series of tracks or a single track into a new
group.
Adding a track to a group (ENTRY GR): Page 57
This function enters the selected track into a group.
Dividing a group (DIVIDE GR): Page 58
This function divides a group containing plural tracks.
Joining two groups (JOIN GR): Page 59
This function joins two adjacent groups into a single group.
Moving a group (MOVE GR): Page 60
This function moves the selected group by reordering the group
and track numbers.
Ungrouping tracks (UNGROUP): Page 61
This function dissolves a group.
Dissolving all groups (UNGR ALL): Page 61
This function dissolves all the groups.
Erasing tracks in a group (ERASE GR): Page 62
This function erases all tracks in the selected group.
• Group numbers and track numbers are renumbered automatically.
Important:
When the editing is completed, “WRITING” starts flashing
after “EDITING” appeared on the display to store the edited
contents on the MD.
While “WRITING” is flashing on the display, do not give any
shock to the unit. Otherwise, the MD might not be able to
play back anymore.
