To resume play, press DVD 3 ( or #¥8 DVD on the unit) again.
To stop during play, press 7.
To remove discs, press the corresponding disc eject buttons
(DISC1
0 – DISC50) on the unit.
• Disc playback sequence in the 5-DVD changer
When 5 discs are loaded on the disc trays*, they are played in the
following sequence (when Repeat Play is not activated):
Ex.: When playback starts from the DISC2 tray:
DISC2 ] DISC3 ] DISC4 ] DISC5 ] DISC1 (then stops)
* If no disc is on the disc tray, the tray is skipped.
• Continuous playback does not work for SVCD/VCD with the
PBC function and some DVDs
When you play these discs, press ENTER or DVD 3.
• When a disc menu appears on the TV screen

Start Continuous Play while a source other
than “DISC” is selected

Press DISC UP or DISC DOWN (or DISC
SELECT on the unit) repeatedly to select a disc
while listening to a source other than “DISC.”
The following indication appears on the display.
• Each time you press the button, the disc tray number changes
as follows*:
* When you press DISC SELECT repeatedly on the unit, the disc
tray number changes only clockwise in the above sequence.

Press DVD
3 (or #¥8 DVD on the unit) while the
indication in step 1 still remains on the display.
Now the source is changed to “DISC” and Continuous Play
starts from the selected disc.
Basic Disc Operations
To change a disc during playback of another disc
On the unit ONLY:
Press one of the disc eject buttons (DISC1 0 –
DISC5 0) to eject one of the disc trays which is not
playing currently.
If discs are changed during play, playback will stop after playing all
the newly inserted discs.
To start playing a disc during playback of another disc
Press DISC UP or DISC DOWN (or DISC SELECT
on the unit) repeatedly to select the disc you want.
Each time you press the button, the next (or previous) disc is
selected. The selected disc starts playing.
To go to another title or group
On the remote control ONLY:
Press GROUP/TITLE >> I or
GROUP/TITLE I<< during playback.
• GROUP/TITLE >> I:
Skips to the beginning of the next or succeeding titles (for
DVD VIDEO) or groups (for DVD AUDIO).
• GROUP/TITLE I<<:
Goes back to the beginning of the current or previous titles
(for DVD VIDEO) or groups (for DVD AUDIO).
For DVD AUDIO
When you select the bonus group, the key number entry indication appears
(see page 34).
To go to another chapter
Press
¢ or 4 during playback.
• ¢: Skips to the beginning of the next or succeeding chapters.
• 4: Goes back to the beginning of the current or previous
chapters.
If you cannot skip chapters
Some DVDs or some scenes on DVD will not accept this operation.
