MEMORY OPERATION
qPush [PBT/M-ch/RIT] momentarily to select the M-
ch/RIT function, if the twin PBT is selected.
•
[PBT/M-ch/RIT] indicator (Green) goes out.
wSet the desired frequency and operating mode in
VFO mode.

If you want to program the split frequency function, pro-
gram both rec
eive and transmit frequencies into VFO
A and B, then turn ON the split function. (p. 91)
• If you want to program a repeater function, set a tone
frequency (p. 60) in addition to the receive/tr
ansmit fre-
quencies.

contents.

Memory channel contents appear above the multi-func-
tion key indicator.

This is convenient for selecting the desired channel.
