Pen eject assembly

Before removing the pen holder, follow these steps:

Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the

computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.

Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.

Disconnect the power cord.

Remove the battery (see

Remove the following components:

Remove the pen holder:

Remove the Phillips PM2.0×5.0 screw (1) that secures the pen eject assembly to the base enclosure.

Remove the pen eject assembly (2).

Remove the two Phillips PM2.0×5.0 screws (3) that secure the pen holder to the base enclosure.
