32 . Release the display QuickPlay board (2) as far as the display QuickPlay board cable will allow.
33 . Disconnect the display QuickPlay board cable (3) from the display QuickPlay board.
NOTE: The display QuickPlay board is available in using spare part number
441122-001.
34 . Remove the display QuickPlay board from the display enclosure.
Reverse this procedure to reassemble and install the display assembly.

Before removing the top cover, follow these steps:
1 . Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the
computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2 . Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3 . Disconnect the power cord.
4 . Remove the battery (see Battery on page 36 ).
5 . Remove the following components:
a . Hard drive (see Hard drive on page 38 )
b . WWAN module (see WWAN module on page 40 )
c . Optical drive (see Optical drive on page 42 )
d . Keyboard (see Keyboard on page 47 )
