An incorrect paper size is loaded in the paper tray.
The HP Fax can only print faxes on letter, A4, or legal paper. If another
paper size is loaded in the paper tray, the HP Fax will not be able to
print the received fax. Load letter, A4, or legal paper, and then press
OK to print the fax.

• The paper tray does not have enough paper.
Make sure the paper tray is loaded and the HP Fax is on an even
surface. Restart your copy job.
• The rear cleanout door is loose.
Make sure the rear cleanout door is fully attached, as shown
below. Restart your copy job.
• The HP Fax has a paper jam.
Clear the paper jam and replace the rear cleanout door. Restart
your copy job.
