Name plate
The name plate is located on the lower right-hand side of the housing.

Additional information
NOTE
The device is intended for the use of lead batteries.
Please check that your insurance conditions are met for installation and operation with lead batter-
ies. The retro-fitting of fire or smoke alarms may be necessary.
1.4
Intended use
The device has been constructed in line with the latest recognised safety regulations and is used to store and use
the solar energy obtained in grid-parallel operation, mains replacement operation or in off-grid systems.
The device is only permitted for operation with the stationary, fixed location lead batteries permitted for the pur-
pose (in accordance with DIN EN 50272-2).
Nevertheless, improper use may cause lethal hazards for the operator or third parties, or may result in damage to
the unit and other property.
Any other or additional use of the device is deemed as not intended.
This includes:

Mobile use,
•
Use in rooms where there is a risk of explosion,
•
Use in rooms where the humidity is higher than 95%,
•
Operation outside of the specifications intended by the manufacturer,
•
Use and operation with non-fixed location batteries,
•
Use with other photovoltaic inverters other than those approved by KACO new energy,
•
Use with products for life support.
