4.4.1 Pulse Counting Modes
The following pulse counting modes can be selected by setting the counter fixed parameter No. 3 (Pulse Counting
Mode Selection) and No.2 “A/B Pulse Signal Polarity Selection.”
* In pulse and direction mode, input pulse A while sign (pulse B) is fixed.

ΠIf connecting the I/O module to a Yaskawa SERVOPACK, set either the fixed parameter or the SERVOPACK
parameter as follows.
ΠFixed parameter No.2 (A/B Pulse Signal Polarity Selection): 1 (Negative logic)
ΠSERVOPACK parameter 1st digit of Pn000: 1 (CW for reverse rotation: reverse rotation mode)
