9.4 Checking the Enclosure and Enclosure Interior
Only perform maintenance work on the Power Plant Controller when the environment is dry and free of dust.
Procedure:
• Check whether the enclosure of the Power Plant Controller is damaged or soiled.
If the enclosure is severely damaged, contact the SMA Service Line.
• Ensure that the enclosure is clean.
• Ensure that the door lock is intact and clean.
• Check whether the surrounding seals on the door frames are intact.
If the seals are damaged, replace them.
• Ensure that all cable glands are tightly sealed.
9.5 Replacing the SD Memory Card of the Power Plant Controller
The SD memory card of the Power Plant Controller must be replaced every ten years. Fault-free operation of the
Power Plant Controller can only be guaranteed if an SD memory card approved by SMA Solar Technology AG is
inserted.
Requirements:
☐ The new SD memory card must be an industrial SD memory card.*
☐ The Power Plant Controller must be switched off (see Section 9.3, page 46).
Procedure:
1. Remove the cover. Press on the cover from the left and pull the
cover outwards.
2. Remove the SD memory card. Briefly press the SD memory card into the slot.
3. Insert the new SD memory card.
4. Position the cover. Insert the bracket in the right-hand opening and
press the cover inwards. Make sure that the buttons are not
clamped.
☑ The enclosure snaps into place.
