8.4 Corrective Measures in the Event of Disturbance
Measured voltage error, controller in
manual mode
The measured values of the voltage from both records are outside the valid
measurement range. The controller switches to manual operation and
transmits the last value calculated prior to the error, or a substitution value, as
output value to the Sunny Centrals and the Cluster Controllers.
Measured frequency error, controller in
manual mode
The measured values of the frequency from both records are outside the valid
measurement range. The controller switches to manual operation and
transmits the last value calculated prior to the error, or a substitution value, as
output value to the Sunny Centrals and the Cluster Controllers.
Measured active power error,
controller in manual mode
The measured values of the active power from both records are outside the
valid measurement range. The controller switches to manual operation and
transmits the last value calculated prior to the error, or a substitution value, as
output value to the Sunny Centrals and the Cluster Controllers.
Measured reactive power error,
controller in manual mode
The measured values of the reactive power from both records are outside the
valid measurement range. The controller switches to manual operation and
transmits the last value calculated prior to the error, or a substitution value, as
output value to the Sunny Centrals and the Cluster Controllers.
Warning control deviation high
Information indicating that the controlled value deviates significantly from the
setpoint (for example, at current irradiation levels the configured values for
active power cannot be achieved).
Upper control limit reached
Information indicating that the output value has reached the upper threshold.
Lower control limit reached
Information indicating that the output value has reached the lower threshold.
Warning limitation apparent power
active
Information indicating that the apparent power is limited by the
Power Plant Controller.
Warning P(f) control active
Information indicating that the power frequency is above the configured
threshold and that active power feed-in is being reduced to provide grid relief.
Problem
Cause and corrective measures
The Power Plant Controller
does not start. The LEDs and
the display are off.
The Power Plant Controller is not connected to the voltage supply.
Corrective measures:
• Ensure that the supply voltage is connected correctly (see Section 6.2, page 22).
The voltage supply is reverse-connected or the top-hat rail power supply unit is defective.
Corrective measures:
• Ensure that the supply voltage is connected correctly (see Section 6.2, page 22).
• If the voltage supply is connected correctly, replace the top-hat rail power supply
unit.
The login page does not
open.
The Power Plant Controller could not start correctly. A system error has occurred.
Corrective measures:
• Disconnect the Power Plant Controller from the voltage supply and then reconnect.
Note that this can lead to loss of system data.
• If the problem persists, contact the SMA Service Line.
