7.6 Systemized configurations
Depending on your production workflow, the DMC 1000 can be used in different camera
configurations.
7.6.1 Basic configuration
A basic configuration is a single camcorder mounted on a tripod or hand held. The live video
output is directly fed into a video switcher/mixer using a single coaxial SDI connection. Camera
control is done on each individual DMC 1000 using the camcorder’s operation panels or the
remote control application LCP 400.
7.6.2 Network configuration
This configuration can be set up as a single camera operation or as a complete, multi-camera
environment. Like the basic configuration, it also has the camcorder on a tripod with live video
output via SDI but also with an OCP 400 control panel providing direct camera control and tally
control.
