MPUs
CAUTION:
•
H3C recommends that you install two MPUs on a switch for redundancy. If two MPUs are installed, their
model must be the same. Otherwise, the standby MPU cannot start up.
• The USB ports on the MPU can be used only to connect to storage media such as USB disk, and cannot
be used to charge external equipment. Otherwise, the MPU might fail.
• The length of the USB cable used for the LST1MRPNE1 and LST1MRPNE2 must be less than 4 m (13.12
ft).
