Auto Dim Time Function

The auto dim time is the time the display station waits for input before blanking the
screen. The number of minutes to wait for auto dim is displayed in the last two fields of
the Auto Dim Time function. Use the Enter key to scroll through the following choices:
• 0 (auto dim off)
• 2 (minutes)
• 5 (minutes)
• 10 (minutes)
• 20 (minutes)
• 30 (minutes)
When the auto dim time you want is displayed, press the Up and Down Arrow keys to
scroll forward or backward to the next online setup function or hold down the Alt key
while you press the Setup key (for the 102-key keyboard, hold down the Shift key while
you press the Setup key) to exit from Online Setup mode.
To restore a blanked screen, press the Shift key. The screen is also restored when the
control unit writes to the screen.
