Setup Procedures
Cursor Size
Use the Up and Down Arrow keys to highlight Cursor Size and press the Enter key to
toggle between Block and Underline. Use this option to choose either a block (
)
cursor or an underline ( _ ) cursor.
Cursor Blink
Use the Up and Down Arrow keys to highlight Cursor Blink and press the Enter key to
toggle between On and Off. Select On if you want a blinking cursor or Off if you want
a nonblinking cursor.
Rule Style
To chose a rule cursor style of either dash (-), bar ( | ), or cross (+), use the Up and
Down Arrow keys to highlight Rule Style and press the Enter key to toggle between
+, |, and -.
You can also choose a rule cursor style with the Online Rule Cursor function. See “Rule
Cursor Function” on Page 3-15.
Press the Rule key (on the 88-key and 102-key keyboards, hold down the Alt key while
you press the Rule key) to turn the rule cursor on or off.
Leaving the Offline Cursor Menu
To leave the Offline Cursor menu, use the Left and Right Arrow keys to display another
offline setup menu or press the Reset key to exit from Offline Setup mode and return to
the Offline Test menu (Figure 2-5 on Page 2-7).
To save the options you set on the Offline Cursor menu, after you leave Offline Setup
mode, you must highlight Go Online on the Offline Test menu and press the Enter key.
