4) Obtain the proper settings for your display station from your system operator. The
controller to which the unit attaches must be configured to support the settings
selected. To adjust the display station’s controls or change the settings for screen,
cursor, keyboard, printer, or other attributes, see Chapter 3, “Setup Procedures.”
If the display station is set correctly, it is ready to go online. Use the Up and Down
arrow keys to highlight Go Online on the Offline Test menu and press the Enter key.
The displays station goes online.
If the display station is not connected to a controller, the cursor is displayed in the
upper left corner of the screen and the operator status row is displayed at the bottom.
If the display station is connected to a controller, the type of controller determines
the appearance of the online screen.
5) If the cursor and operator status row are not displayed, adjust the Contrast and/or
Brightness controls. If adjusting the Contrast and/or Brightness controls does
not display the cursor and operator status row, refer to Chapter 6, “Problem
Determination and Maintenance.”
6) Installation of the display station is now complete.
