Setup Procedures
Click Volume
Use the Up and Down Arrow keys to highlight Click Volume and press the Enter key to
toggle between Off, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7. Turn the keyboard click off by selecting Off, or
select a click volume from 1 (lowest) through 7 (highest).
You can also adjust the keyboard click volume with the Online Click Volume function.
See “Click Volume Function” on Page 3-18.
Cursor Speed
Use the Up and Down Arrow keys to highlight Cursor Speed and press the Enter key to
toggle between horizontal cursor speeds of 10 CPS, 20 CPS, and 30 CPS.
Repeat Delay
Press the Up and Down Arrow keys to highlight Repeat Delay and press the Enter key to
toggle between typeamatic speeds for autorepeat keys of Short, Medium, and Long.
Keyboard Type
Note: Check with your system operator before you change this value.
Use the Up and Down Arrow keys to highlight Keyboard Type and press the Enter key
to toggle between the following keyboard settings:
• TW (native typewriter)
• DE (data entry) – not available with 102-key keyboard
• 01 (user defined)
• 02 (user defined)
• 03 (user defined)
• 04 (user defined)
• 88 (Emulate 88-key keyboard) – not available with 102-key keyboard
Numeric Lock
Note: Check with your system operator before turning the numeric lock off or on.
Use the Up and Down Arrow keys to highlight Numeric Lock and press the Enter key to
toggle between numeric lock On and Off.
