Setup Procedures
Change KEYLESS Password
The user-definable password for Electronic Security Lock mode can be modified by
performing the following steps:
1) Move the pointer (with the Up or Down Arrow keys) to the Change KEYLESS
Password prompt and press Enter.
2) The user is then prompted to input the current password. (As each keystroke is
input, the leftmost underscore is changed to an “X”). If an incorrect password is
input, “FAIL” is added, and the Change prompt and the password prompt are
removed. To retry, the user must press Enter to restore the prompt.
Note: The default password as shipped or after RESET NVRAM is “OPR”.
3) If the password is correctly entered, the user is then prompted for a new password.
The next three keystrokes are taken as the new password.
4) The user is then prompted to reenter the new password to verify the change. When
the third keystroke is entered, all of the password prompts are removed. If the
keystrokes do not match, “FAIL” is added to the Change prompt.
Leaving the Offline Keyboard Menu
To leave the Offline Keyboard menu, use the Left and Right Arrow keys to display
another offline setup menu or press the Reset key to exit from Offline Setup mode and
return to the Offline Test menu.
To save the options you set on the Offline Keyboard menu, after you leave Offline Setup
mode you must highlight Go Online on the Offline Test menu and press the Enter key.
