Introduction
Serial Number Entry – This function allows you to verify or enter the display station
serial number. This information, along with Vital Product Data, is stored in the display
nonvolatile memory and is available to be read by the control unit for systems statistics
gathering by networks. The control unit to which you are attached must support this
function.
Optional Features
Keyboards – The 1481 offers a variety of keyboard types, each with a keyboard cable
that extends up to 72 inches (183 cm).
Light Pen – Allows the operator to select data from a display panel by pointing to it with
a pen-like device. This selection method provides a quick alternative to keying.
Security Keylock – Mechanical switch which allows the operator to secure and unlock
the terminal keyboard and display with a key.
