Setup Procedures
Leaving the Offline Miscellaneous Menu
To leave the Offline Miscellaneous menu, use the Left and Right Arrow keys to display
another offline setup menu or press the Reset key to exit from Offline Setup mode and
return to the Offline Test menu (Figure 2-5 on Page 2-7).
To save the options you set on the Offline Miscellaneous menu, after you leave Offline
Setup mode you must highlight Go Online on the Offline Test menu and press the Enter
key.
Online Setup Mode
Some screen, cursor, keyboard, and printer options can be selected or changed in online
setup mode. They can also be changed or selected in Offline Setup mode. See “Entering
Offline Setup Mode” on Page 3-4 for instructions on how to change these options in
Offline Setup mode.
In Offline Setup mode, the coax indicator is a filled triangle ( ).
Going Online
To go online when you power up, turn the Power-On/Off switch to On ( | ).
To go online from the Offline Test menu (Figure 2-5 on Page 2-7), use the Up and Down
Arrow keys to highlight Go Online and press the Enter key.
Entering Online Setup Mode
To enter Online Setup mode, your display station must first be online. Follow the
instruction in “Going Online,” above, to put your display station online.
To enter Online Setup mode from a 104-, 122-, or 88-key keyboard, hold down the Alt
key while you press the Setup key. The online Rule Cursor function is displayed in the
last 10 characters on the operator status row.
To enter Online Setup mode from a 102-key keyboard, hold down the Shift key while
you press the Setup key. The online Rule Cursor Function is displayed in the last 10
characters on the operator status row.
Use the Up and Down Arrow keys to toggle through the following online setup functions:
• Rule Cursor
• Auto Dim Time
• MONOCASE/DualCase
• Alarm Volume
