iCON Dial-In
The iCON will support dial-in through a serial modem The setup for dial-up networking
should have the following parameters to dial-in to an iCON.
Name: icon
Password: icon
No on encrypted password or data
Network Protocol : TCP/IP
TCP/IP Setting for dialing unit:
Select Server Assigned IP Address
Select Server Assigned name server address
Software and IP Header Compression can be enabled.
The iCON will assign an IP address of 192.168.0.21 to the calling unit. The address of
the iCON will be 192.168.0.20. The 192.168.0.20 IP address can be used by the browser
and the twinax session manager to see the twinax sessions at the iCON.
The above applies to the iCON-1T or iCON-XT. The iCON-XT uses COM 1 serial port
(the only serial connector on back of unit).
