Putting in contact 2 metals from different material generates unwanted voltages
(EMF) proportional to the ambient temperature.
Two methods exist to cancel this problem: the Zero method and the Average method.
The ZERO method:
Φ Select the ZERO line

ON
= Zero method operating

OFF
= Zero method not operating
Φ Enter the selection with the Enter key.
The AVERAGE method:
Φ Select the AVERAGE line
Φ Press on the RIGHT arrow or on the enter key.
